All Shuharikan dan ranks are conferred by the Honbu (home dojo) in Tokyo, Japan upon the recommendation of senior yudansha (higher dan ranking instructors) and are recognized internationally through the Aikido Yoshinkai Foundation (AYF).

 

All teaching certificates are also conferred by the Honbu upon the recommendation of senior instructors and are recognized internationally through the Aikido Yoshinkai Foundation (AYF).

 

This ensures high quality and consistent instruction at the Shuharikan.
